Day in the Park

It was a little chilly, but the boys were tired of being cooped up in the house. So we went to the park for a picnic. They had so much fun. When we got home they decided to go straight to sleep. It was a wonderful cry-free day. I can't wait until it gets warmer.

We traveled down to Duane's parents' house to see Ben and Angel's littlest girl, Ava, be blessed today. Here are a few family pictures taken.

Ben, Angel, and Ava.

Blaine, Amber, Carter and Cooper. Duane, Kristy, and Tyler. Jerry and Sue (holding Turner and Ava). Darren and Katie (holding Taylor). Ben, Angel and Emily. And Megan.

Ava and Turner together. Ava is two weeks older than Turner. Looks a little older because Turner was born a bit early. Ava looks just like her mom and Turner looks just like me!

Me and my best friend Katie!

Duane and his twin Darren. Duane's wearing the glasses in case you can't tell.

Darren and his wife Katie

These are some V-day pictures of the boys. I made everyone heart shaped sandwiches and a special V-day cup cake. The boys got Elmo dolls and Turner got a little doggie doll. Turner doesn't notice, but the boys went ga ga over the Elmos... forgot to take pictures.

The nursery

So here are some pictures of our nursery. Can you believe I got three cribs to fit in there! The pictures aren't very good because I have to use my camera phone to be able to blog here at the office of my apartment. So I text the pictures to my email to get them on the computer. But you can get the gist of it. It's a working progress.

A little catching up...

I was taking pictures of the twins taking a bath. Tyler's face looks pretty funny doesn't it? Well, you'll see why in the next picture.

That's right! He was concentrating on his pooping!! They pooped everyday in the tub for 4 days straight. Taylor's finding it interesting since it didn't come from him...this time.

We had just gotten out of the car from our 3 1/2 hours drive from Duane's parents' house. The twins were driving me nuts, so I grabbed them by their pj's and let them crawl outside and get their energy out. Needless to say, the crawled to everything they shouldn't have. So this is how i had to gather them up.

Baby Turner just hanging out.

All three of the little tikes. I have so much laundry, sometimes I just crank up the heater and let them go in their diapers.

Turner sucking on that dang binki. He screams 'til he gets it. The twins weren't binki babies, so I'm not sure how I'll break him of this habit. I hear it's tourcher.

A day outside.

I made a curtain to match all the boys crib beddings and then made a bumper pad for Turner. Ran out of material to make the skirting. Duane actually helped me make the bumper pad. I think we made a pretty good team.

Me and the boys made a tshirt for daddy.

life with 3 little men

So I love my sons, but it is a lot of work. I don't know how Sarah Britt does it. I really don't. My sons are all pretty well behaved. They do throw fits like any newborn or 1 year olds, and that isn't necessarily the hard part. It's the bottles and bath times, diapers and poop in the tub, the laundry...oh my goodness the laundry! The dishes and all the tripping over toys. I'm not really adjusting well to having a third baby. But thank goodness I have a support group here. Mandy Telford took Tyler and Turner yesterday. Leanna has come over and has taken the babies to her house so I could get things done. Rachel comes and entertains. Kristin is taking Turner tomorrow afternoon since the twins are sick. Nathan Asay comes and hangs out with Duane and keeps the babies entertained for me. Everyone is just so wonderful. Here are a few pictures. I swear I would break down more than I do if it weren't for all of my wonderful friends. Thank you guys!!

Here's Nathan having Tyler walk up him.

MY BABIES ARE GETTING OLD! They just turned one year old.
