Trip to Arkansas

It has been a crazy two weeks. I came up to Arkansas for my sister's graduation. Then me and her went canoeing with friends. I learned how to sew and monogram. It's really not that hard. I didn't have much font to work with though. My mom bought me a baby pattern book with a gazillion patterns that I can start on. Earlier this week Duane and I went to the cabins for a romantic getaway for a few day, which was awesome because we were surrounded by nothing but wilderness and horses. It was the Bar 50 horse ranch in Bismarck. We also went hiking through the Hot Spring hot springs. Then we celebrated my brother's birthday and Duane and I took him to see Night at the Museum. We also all got sunburned spending the day at Magic Springs...a water park and theme park. Duane got it the worst! It's been so much fun, but we're going home tomorrow. Here are just a few pictures of the past couple of weeks.

My sister finally graduated!!!!!! Congradulations Katie!!!!!

These are some of the burp rags I made. I ended up making bibs and onsies, too.

Tyler wouldn't stop fussing, so while Hunter was hooked up doing a treatment we put Tyler on his back...on Hunter's vibrating vest. Needless to say, he hushed.

The boys first time in a bathtub! They kicked and went swimming. It was so funny to watch them.

My brothers had a soccer game and I guess the twins thought it was running too long. They fell asleep completely stretched out. It was cute.

This is the cabin we stayed in.

This is my brother Samuel on his horse. I couldn't go horse back riding because the doctor says my pregnancy is very sensitive right now, so Duane invited my mom and brother to go with him. I was jealous. :(

What's one more?

I have posted earlier on that I am pregnant, but I was in such a state of shock that all I could write was, "I'm pregnant. Oops." Everyone keeps asking me if i'm really pregnant. But yeah, it's true. Some how this baby has beat all kinds of prevention and has made it. I am only about 7 1/2 weeks pregnant, so I'm not very far along. I was talking to my sister-in-law Katie about it and told her that I honestly was freakinig out. I just can't bring myself to tell people, "Oh yeah...I'm so excited!!" But she made me feel better about feeling that way. I mean...come on!...I just wanted one. Now I'll have 3 ages 1 and under. Who wouldn't stress out about that?? I'm still trying to recover from the twins. I'm scared, but at the same time this baby is a blessing from God. He has to be, because he even stumped my doctor on how he got here. Oh yeah, I call the baby a "he" because I know it'll be another boy...or at least I hope it is. Thankfully, Duane is taking it much better than me, and I am so thankful for that. He tries to make the idea of it easier to handle every day. But if I can handle twins by myself, I should be able to handle three, right?

We went swimming for the first time this summer the other day! It was great to hang out with friends and jump in the pool. I just wish it'd been a little warmer. Tyler hated the water...Taylor would go waste deep and loved it...and Christian had a love/hate relationship with the water. It was pretty cold.

What do you think? Boy or Girl?

I'm pregnant. Oops.

Family Portraits

A couple days ago we went to Jalayne Telford's home to get some photo's taken. And this is what she did! Duane and I were speechless when we saw the pictures. She is truly talented. And she does this all out of her home! She has more of her work on http://www.jalaynetelford.com/.

A trip down memory lane...

Two years after Duane and I were married, we were fortunate enough to become pregnant with twin boys. Unfortunately, they arrived 11 weeks early. We traveled an hour to the hospital only to be allowed to spend 15 minutes with the boys. Later it was extended to 30 minutes and then before they came home an hour. We were so happy the day they both were able to be home with us... happy and healthy. This is a picture of our sons just 9 days after they were born.

If the boys are crying and nothing will soothe them, they love to be put in this chair. The act like they're big boys.

I had a million loads of laundry to do today and Tyler would not let me get it done. He kept wanting mommy to hold him. Finally I just took a warm blanket and tossed it on him and this is the reaction I got! If the blanket got cool...we had to get another warm one. This is how I managed to get laundry done.
